Diploma Programme Student Interest Form - Now Online

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) is being planned for implementation at Huron High School for the fall of 2017. We are currently working with and providing information to class of 2019 students and families as they consider being part of the first DP cohort in Ann Arbor.

Materials from IB Diploma Programme Presentation for 8th Grade Students

Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to today's presentation for 8th graders (Class of 2019) and 8th grade families who are considering the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at Huron High School beginning the fall of 2017.

One question that came up during the presentation was connected to the capacity of the DP at Huron.....as in how many students could enroll in the DP for the first cohort for the fall of 2017.

Answer:  The DP and our planning are flexible enough to accommodate the number of students for whom the program makes sense. Whether that number is 60, 100, or 200+ for the first cohort will be determined by the enrollment needs of the DP.

Transfer To The Future Ann Arbor IB Schools: Space Available In-District Transfer Application Window Begins January 15

In-district space available for students residing in the Ann Arbor Public Schools attendance boundaries will be accepted January 15 through February 27, 2015 for the 2015/2016 school year.

This is an important step for AAPS families who want to enroll at Mitchell, Scarlett and Huron but do not live in the Mitchell, Scarlett, and Huron attendance boundaries.

International Baccalaureate 2015-16 Information Meeting - For Current 8th Grade Families

Current and future AAPS families with 8th grade students are invited to learn about International Baccalaureate at Huron High School for the 2015-16 school year on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 2-3 PM in the Meyers Auditorium.

The presentation will include information about the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme in 9th and 10th grades and will include information about enrolling in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in 11th and 12th grades.

In-district transfer applications will be available at the presentation.  Families who are also interested in enrolling as part of the schools of choice program are encouraged to attend.
