Ann Arbor IB Joint Meeting: Community Advisory, Teacher Leadership, School Improvement Teams

Dear A2-IB Community Advisory, IB Teacher Leaders, and School Improvement Team members,

I very much hope you will respond "YES" to the email invitation I've sent for you to attend a joint meeting between the advisory members, school improvement team members, and IB teacher leaders from Mitchell, Scarlett and Huron on Tuesday, October 27 from 4:15 - 5:45 PM in the Scarlett Middle School media center.

We are planning an agenda where teachers, parents and community dialogue about the IB start up work in Ann Arbor including:
- Dr. Swift's naming of the 5 Pillars of IB in Ann Arbor
- 140+ teachers attending IB professional development this past summer
- Sharing and examples of IB curriculum that are being worked on almost every day right now - during the IB candidacy phase
- Sharing and discussion about the development of the most robust DP program in the state.
- And more!

Especially parents and community members - if you know of another who might be interested in knowing more about IB work in Ann Arbor, please invite them to this meeting and let me know their email address so I can send them an email invitation as well.

Questions? Please let me know :-)

PS to principals - If it is possible, please invite parents/community members from your school improvement teams.
