Invitation: Visit the Ann Arbor International Baccalaureate Living Museum

As we close the 2015-16 school year, parent and community leaders in the IB pathway are cordially invited to:

Visit the
Ann Arbor International Baccalaureate
Living Museum

While visiting the museum, you'll experience the "World of Inquiry", the type of teaching and learning that engages students in International Baccalaureate World Schools.  As an extra added bonus, you will be able to interact with IB teachers to ask questions about the exciting and engaging Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme!

When: Monday May 23, 2016 4:00-6:00 pm
Where: Huron High School

4:20-4:30    Opening: Welcome to the "World of IB!"

4:30-4:40    Activity: See, Think, Wonder - an inquiry activity

4:40-5:30    "The IB Experience" with real, live IB teachers - including "What does an IB lesson feel like?"

5:30-6:00   Closing: "Sharing the Experience!"

    May 18 IB Community Information Meeting Postponed

    Dear Interested Ann Arbor International Baccalaureate Community Members,

    The Ann Arbor IB community information meeting scheduled for May 18 at Scarlett Middle School has been postponed.

    Those who are interested in finding out more about IB at Mtichell, Scarlett and/or Huron should:
    - Check out the IB website at http://ib.a2schools.org
    - Email the IB coordinators from the IB website with questions
    - Come to Mitchell School on June 2 at 6:30 PM to meet with the IB facilitators andd/or principals.
